I searched for a job 2 years ago after deciding on a career change. I enjoyed my time teaching English at universities, but I needed relief from the paper-grading load.
My true love was writing, and I thought that my background in teaching would make a smooth transition into a writing career.
However, I found a glut of job-search data and data entry that made paper-grading seem easy. I banged my head on the desk after completing an application, once an hour.

He was referring to the modern trend toward agnosticism and atheism, and he frames God as a story.
That God was dead was shocking enough, but that we killed him, took Nietzsche to a heightened individual voice. He was bold and went against the grain.

Bloggers Beware: Websites Want Your Money - ZipMinis: Science of Blogging and Writing
The wolves target sheep bloggers.
I'll admit that I want to make money blogging. I see myself as a professional writer. Do you too?
I dream of blogging away on my MacBook, sitting on the porch of a forested cabin, the day warm and sunny. Had similar visions? Maybe involving the beach instead?
But, I'll be damned before I become one of the ravenous wolves that feed on bloggers in order to make that lifestyle possible. These wolves drink from the jugular of innocent and insecure bloggers, who only long for a bit of success.
The wolves have become so numerous that they feed upon each other, willing to bleed their own kin to make a buck.
